Though the Day Be Short
Though the Day Be Short
Dear <<First Name>>
Living up in Orkney has made me much more aware of the shortness of Winter days. Last week, on 21st December, the sun rose at 9.05am and set at 3.15pm! The daylight is precious and lovely at this time of the year.
As we reflect on the year that’s past, and the year to come, the Rev’d David Coleman, URC minster and Chaplain to Eco Congregations Scotland has produced a short reflection for us as we reflect on our faith and the challenges of climate change. David combines gentle music and stunning photography on a walk up a mountain with ideas about how we have to change and live in harmony and respect with nature.
Filmed on a short December day, David has some thoughts that we all need to ponder. You can see the film here.
I wish you, and all whom you love, a happy and healthy new year.
with every good wish
Andy
