THE GRAPEVINE – MARCH 2023

THE GRAPEVINE – MARCH 2023

Our March issue is varied and, hopefully, also informative.  As well as regular features on Messy Church, ArtPeace and News of the Church Family, we have an article on the Willis organ that has, to our relief and delight, found a new home in Morecambe, following the closure of Weybridge URC.  We are sure that the congregation of St Barnabas Church in Morecambe will be looking forward to enjoying its lovely sound.  You can read about The Royal Hospital, Chelsea, “the best old folks’ home in the world – bar none” in the words of one of its residents.  There is an item contributed by its organiser on our popular monthly lunch “People Who Lunch” which is growing in popularity.    We highlight the plight of the people of Ukraine and Syria following the recent devastating earthquake and there is a moving article about one Ukrainian family who found a temporary home with one of our own church families.  Happy reading!   If anyone would like to contribute to future issues of The Grapevine, the Editor would be delighted to hear from them!
