Reflections from Fiji
Reflections from Fiji
Dear <<First Name>>
I hope you found the reflections from various members of the Education and Learning team last week useful and that you might even be inspired to think about how you or your church might use a grant to support discipleship! Details of the grant are here.
Now we turn to Fiji. As part of his training for ministry Simon Cross, an ordinand at Westminster College, spent three weeks in Fiji this Summer. Based at the Pacific Theological College with URC ministers Melanie Smith and Mark Meacher but travelling widely across the island of Viti Levu, Simon was able to reflect on the varying contexts of Fiji and what he might learn for ministry back here. Over the next week we read Simon’s reflections and learn a little about the Church in a very different context to his own.
I hope you enjoy them.
With every good wish
Andy
