APRIL 2021 NEWSLETTER

In this month’s issue the minister muses on the significance of flowers in the context of Easter. There is a complementary article on a fascinating talk and demonstration by Alison Gillot on flower arranging with a theme of nursery rhymes.  We look ahead eagerly to Pentecost when our church building should be open once again.  We rejoice in the success of our ArtPeace friends in Zimbabwe being able to join our Sunday Zoom services and are happy to see how much this means to them, as well as to us.  Amongst other things, the minister’s article ‘A little telly watching’ of the programme ‘Rich House, Poor House’ is thought-provoking and we learn something of past times in Walton-on Thames, including the history surrounding the current church building of St Andrew’s.  We hope you will enjoy your  April issue.  APRIL 2021
