THE GRAPEVINE – FEBRUARY 2026
Sadly, this is our last ever issue of The Grapevine, at least in its present form, as the Editor has decided the time has come to hang up her quill. This final issue is full of colour with accounts of all our Christmas services as well as the retirement of our minister, Michael, accompanied by photographs that ‘tell the story’. We mourn the loss of two faithful members and welcome a baptism. Stratus, the musical trio we like to call our own, gave another lovely concert just before Christmas. Messy Church goes on apace and the regular articles on ArtPeace in Zimbabwe help us to remember and be inspired by people who have unimaginably difficult lives but whose creativity blows us away – many of us own at least one ArtPeace sculpture, which are also for sale in Southwark Cathedral. It has been a privilege being your Editor and I hope you have enjoyed and even been inspired or encouraged by some of the content of our magazine. Thank you for your loyal readership. I hope that a new Editor can be found soon but that, in the meantime, you will continue keeping in touch with us through our website: www.standrewsurc.com
