Our Minister

Minister Michael Hogdson

A west-countryman by birth, I have been a Minister since 1987 and have been here since 2017. I actually began my working life as a professional musician and in a limited way I am still a performing musician too.

My passion is sharing the Bible’s message, and making it relevant for today’s world. I love leading worship in all sorts of different ways, and people matter to me. I’m known for my sense of humour and the one thing you can be certain of is that you’re not going to drop off to sleep in one of my services.

Outside church life, as well as still being a musician I enjoy cooking, – and eating the results, and I own a caravan, called Barbara, and together we visit all sorts of different places in the UK.
