Junior Church

Junior Church

Junior Church takes place at the same time as the Morning Service. Usually, the children stay for the first part of the service before leaving for their classes . On the last Sunday of the month, there is All-Age Worship at the usual service time of 10.30am; for this, children and young people remain with the older congregation throughout the service.

Junior Church has a regular core of children at each Morning Service and is manned on a rota basis with approx 8 people participating, all of whom are CRB / DBS checked. For very young children a crèche is also available, if required.

On occasions when no Junior Church is held, or for children who wish to stay with their parents, “play bags”, to keep children occupied during a service, are available on request.

St Andrew's has a Safeguarding Policy which complies with Home Office and URC guidelines and which is observed in all church activities.
